The Khardomah Lodge is located in Grand Haven, a resort town on the west coast of Lake Michigan. This beach town is rich in recreation and culture year round. The lodge is situated in a wooded dune 100 yds from the shoreline and just over a mile from downtown.
A State Historic Landmark, Khardomah has been welcoming the public since 1915. Originally built in 1873 as a summer cottage for the Brayton family, it became Akeley school for girls in 1925 after a 13 room addition was completed, and later a summer guest house.
The north wing of the building houses two private and spacious suites with scenic wooded views.
